What happens to my package after the validity period expires ?

Once the validity period has expired (by default, 30 days after sending):


  • If the package has not been downloaded by at least one addressee, the sender receives an email indicating that the addressees have not downloaded the package
  • The package files are automatically deleted and the download links sent to addressees (or the public download link) will no longer work
  • The package is “archived”:

  • It remains accessible via “My Account” / “My packages” (login required) and enables the sender to retain access to package information (addressee list, number of downloads, names of package files);

  • It will be permanently deleted from France Transfert 12 months after creation (date of archive expiry)
